Broad, full, slightly domed form, 5/8” width. Broad edges, the top flowing into the field as scrolls above a trefoil. Iconic form. For Vikings the heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the warrior. It is said that Hrungnir, with whom Thor dueled (assisted by a sorceress), had a heart of stone.
