Lunar pendants were worn as pectorals as well as suspended from belts, other clothing, and horse harnesses. This example is 1 3/8” high with a bulbous central column superimposed on the crescent moon, with matching bulbous terminals representing Sol the sun and Mani the moon. Professionally refurbished with the 24-karat gold overlay restored for contemporary wear. On a modern gilt Sterling silver 18” neck chain, gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
