The Dark Ages, after the fall of Rome. Circular ring, just over ¾” (0.77”) diameter with three intricately fashioned faceted spheres, each with four hexagonal bases supporting central nubs. As there is no closure mechanism, it was mounted permanently to a pierced ear. Excellent preservation the 24karat gold surface restored and mounted on an 18” gilt silver neck chain for modern wear.
