Gilt bronze, made by the lost wax process. Size about 10 ¼ but unable to accurately measure due to the form. While it appears to be a twisted wire, it was made by rolling wax into a long “string”, shaping it to this form, and encasing it in clay with a sprue. The mold was then heated to melt the wax and allow bronze to replace it. Textured from burial with the 24karat gold surface replaced. Gift boxed with certification of authenticity.
