Found in Ireland, England (Scotland) and Western Europe. Bronze, over 7/8” in height, delicately cast with an integral suspension loop. Generally acknowledged as exchange objects (money) these frequently, are encountered with pieces chipped out. This example is completely intact with no loss. If valued as money and a sign of prosperity, it follows that the fragments were used votively as a sacrifice.
