8th-12th century. Gilt bronze, 0.78” (over 3/4”) height plus the suspension loop. The crossbeam is centered with a square. The center with a semi-linear cross form and the square quarters with incised radials. The back flat.  Professionally refurbished with silver surface restored, on a modern Sterling silver 18” neck chain. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
