CLASSIC ROMAN RING, 1st-3rd CENTURY AD, SIZE 4 1/2-5

$120.00 Sale
Form identical to Ancient Rings p.53 and 54, identified as Henig type Xb with semi-oval band, stepped below the oval bezel. That example is described as having a Zoroastrian motif scene and is base metal. This example has a similar motif, unidentified, but very likely Zoroastrian as well.  The shape makes sizing difficult but it is small, about 4 ½-5 with 2.4mm band width. Condition is as found. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
