9th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze, slightly under size 9 1/2 (all our rings were made before sizing was standardized). Broad 4.3mm width band in five ranks with raised edges and central band, each finely hatched. Surface textured overall from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24k gold overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
