9th century, Cambridgeshire England. Bronze, with a rounded face and of broad 5.4mm width. Made with a central core to distribute the molten metal and heat. The core was then laboriously removed by hand with the remnants still visible. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
