Eastern Europe, 19th century. Gilt bronze of quality fit for high status. Size 10 ½ with 5.1mm band. Tall conical bezel with crenulated rim and base, mounted with a blue “stone”. These conical bezels, strange to our eyes, were popular but made with care that they were not taller than that on the clan Chief’s ring.
