Pilgrim and early Crusades period. Silvered bronze, over 1 3/8” height with slightly flared form beams. The crossbeam above the center. Plain front with the back recessed to receive a sacred relic such as the hair of a saint or splinter of the true cross. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored and suspended from a Sterling silver neck chain. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
