Just over 1 1/2” (1.54”) height, silvered bronze with a high relief vacant stick cross on larger cross base. The back plain as with earliest examples. Surface degraded from burial. Evidently an evolution from the Christian convert’s crosses of two centuries earlier. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver surface restored and mounted on an 18” Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear, with certification of authenticity, and jewelry gift box.
