10th-15th century AD. Gilt bronze with 2.6mm band flaring to the ridged shoulders and raised with raised circular bezel engraved with a saltire with radials in circular border. This example, clearly Christian, blends the pagan symbols, wheel of fortune, as was often done during the conversion period, thus probably dating this example to the earlier part of the period.
