Found in Yorkshire England, in the Victorian period. About 1/2” (0.58”) length, 14.4mm diameter. Cast, addorsed conical form. Beads were valued more than gold to Vikings and they produced them as well as pillaged and ransomed for them. In the 10th century, they went to Indonesia specifically to procure a ransom for their legendary miniature beads. These large beads were made by Vikings and are suitable for modern bead creations. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Exceptional size and perfect center piece for a modern jewelry creation.
