ROMAN MAN’S RING, UNFINISHED, 2ND-3RD CENTURY AD

Second to third century AD. Bronze casting as removed from the mold but never completed. About size 9 with ridged band and lenticular bezel. Irregular with flaws from the casting process. These would have been remelted but this example was evidently lost in the process and hidden until found by metal detector.
