SPANISH SOUTHWEST PROVINCIAL CROSS, 18TH CENTURY

$325.00 Sale

Silvered bronze, made by a village blacksmith or tinsmith, probably by open face molding and hand finishing. 2 3/8” height plus the suspension loop. The cross beam centered and significantly out of square. The size suggests that it was made for a priest or nun, probably in California or Texas.  Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored on a Sterling silver mounted polished leather neck cord. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
