Cambridgeshire, England, 866-1067 AD Oval form, size 8. 1.6mm at the bottom swelling to 3.1mm at the top. The top half is a deeply modeled crested-roped motif. The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking form. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Vikings exchanged wedding rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
