9th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze, size 10 3/4. Tapered with a 2.8-3.5mm width band with a low rounded face. Surface textured overall from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24k gold overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
