10th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze, size 9 3/4, 3.3mm width, with deeply rounded face. Surface very lightly textured from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Excellent wearable size.
