VIKING WEDDING RING, 850-1050 AD, SIZE 6 ½

Bronze, size 6 1/2. Deeply rounded section. 4.5mm band width. Made by casting with a central core to distribute the molten copper, which was then laboriously removed, leaving the tool line. As found condition with heavy surface encrustation. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
