9th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze, a little over size 5 ¾ (all our rings were made before sizing was standardized). Broad 2.6mm width band with a low rounded face. Surface textured overall from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24k gold overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
