Just under 3/4" width. Broad heart with rounded edge and nubbed lower quarter points. The field finely incised with a trefoil, a favorite Viking form. Made by the open face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on a gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
