Bronze, about 7/8" height, delicately cast. Generally acknowledged as exchange objects (money) these frequently, are encountered with pieces chipped out. This example has two small pieces chipped from the rime for devotional purposes. If valued as money, it follows that the fragments were used votively as a sacrifice. Found in Ireland, England (Scotland), and Western Europe. Professionally refurbished with loop restored and with silver overlay on modern Sterling silver neck chain. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
