Probably French. Silvered bronze, 7/8” height delicately cast as an armorial device, probably a tree growing from a mound or island "on bar". That would have commemorated an event or accomplishment of a forebear, probably a voyage of discovery. The silver surface was restored, on a Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear.
