RARE VIKING COPPER WEDDING RING SIZE 10
Size 10 for a man. 3.9mm width with medial line flanked by hatched bands, angled in the same direction rather than forming chevrons which would seem more likely. Worn from use with fine patina. The inside with remnants of the gold surface. Vikings were expert metallurgists. The use of pure copper is rare and suggests a supernatural significance as alloys (bronze) were much more durable. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
