Circular, pierced with a cross potent, i.e. with "crutches" at the beam ends The projections representing a crossbar, the Jerusalem cross with cross potent. Five crosses in one, representing the five wounds of Christ originating with Godfrey of Bouillon, a Frankish Knight of the First Crusade, known as Baron of the Holy Sepulcher and the Crusader King, ruler of the Kingdom of Jerusalem following its victorious siege in the First Crusade. This example is just under 1" diameter plus the suspension loop. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored on modern Sterling silver neck chain.
