Broad 5.9mm width band, near flat. Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Good wearable size 6, made for the small finger as was the custom. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Surface textured from wear and burial. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
