DOUBLE RARE VIKING WEDDING RING 866-1067 AD, SIZE 6 ¾
Danelaw England. Broad 4.7mm width with medially ridged rounded face. Made with a central core to distribute the molten metal and heat. The core was then laboriously removed by hand with the remnants still visible. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24k gold surface restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
