1.8mm width band expanded to the shoulders below the raised oval bezel inscribed with a radiant four-point star. That image has been identified on other rings of this period as representing the Star of Bethlehem. These, as commonly found on the rings of Converts to Christianity as this was a period in which Pagan religion was dominant. Wearable size 5 1/4 and in excellent condition. Silvered bronze. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
