17th-18th Century, Orthodox rite. Silvered bronze, just under 2 1/4” height. Broad beams with raised edges and a plain cross center with charges and ciphers at the terminals. Reverse with broad edge and plain field, characteristic of earlier examples. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored, placed on a polished leather neck cord with Sterling silver mounts for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
