Gilt bronze. 7/8” height. Quaint provincially made example. Broad beams with the cross beam centered. The junction with a square expansion. These were worn by Pilgrims going from Europe to the Holy Land. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, on a gilt neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
