EXCEPTIONAL CELTIC PROSPERITY RING, 5th-2nd CENTURY BC
Just under 2” diameter. Broad disk comprised of four ridges each side. Aside from the circular, circular section rings, other variations are known. Among them are nubbed rings and squared rings. This example is evidently unique and probably a bride price. Largest of these we have encountered and one of a kind design. The silver surface restored an on modern sterling silver chain for contemporary wear.
