Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Rare Wearable size 12. Broad flat face, 6.0mm width, hand-decorated with stipple edges and a roped medial flanked by matching stipple bands. Fine glossy green patina as found. Small wear hole where the engraving has thinned the surface. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
