¾" width. Cast bronze, intricately hand detailed representing an inverted crescent with radial and figural detail and five balls at the bottom. The terminals wit split spheres. The field with curvilinear figures, perhaps with fertility significance. Excellent with the gold overlay restored, and modern ring for wear. Viking worship involved the heavenly bodies on which they relied for guidance when sailing.
