FINE GREEK ARROWHEAD PENDANT NECKLACE, 300-100 BC
Hellenistic Period (after the death of Alexander the Great). The death of Alexander resulted in fragmentation and civil war resulting in a number of separate city-states. Over 1” length plus the suspension loop. Conical socket with triple cutting veins. Usually lost on the battlefield and not often found in such good preservation. Excellent trilobate form. Professionally refurbished with a silver overlay and mounted on a modern Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
