Gilt bronze. Just over 1/2" height plus the suspension loop. Near flat section of broad form with the cusp as two scrolls bridged by a bar. The field as a trefoil. Made by the open face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold restored on a gilt neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
