Cambridgeshire, England. Size 5 for wear between the first two joints of the small finger as was the custom.  Bold twist motif 2/3 its circumference, finely delineated and preserved. The spiral or helix was a favorite Viking form. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Vikings exchanged wedding rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
