Size 11 1/4. Silvered bronze. 4.8mm in width. Broadband with raised medial in hatched or lattice motif flanking a cluster of circles, perhaps with astrological/mystical significance. The lattice symbolized "fertile fields" for Vikings and they wore lattice pendants in the Spring to promote crop yield. The use here is probably to promote fertility in the marriage. Surface textured from burial Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certification of authenticity.
