The High Gothic Period following the Crusades. Silvered bronze, just over 1” height with the suspension ring. The cross beam centered with trefoil beam terminals forming “crutches” from the Jerusalem cross which made it five crosses in one, commemoration the five wounds of Christ. Raised border to the front and the back flat. A diamond in the middle enclosing a sixth cross. As found condition. Crisp with fine green patina and very light soil adhesion.
