Silvered bronze. Rounded band, 2.3 mm thick. 0.46". 11.7mm inside dimension, 16.4mm, 0.64" outside. The use of beard rings by Viking warriors is well documented but surviving examples are rare. These were also worn in the hair around the ears. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored. See the reference image which shows the process.
