ROMAN CHILD’S RING, 2ND-5TH CENTURY AD, SIZE 2 ½
Very delicately made with 0.7mm band flaring slightly to the reeded shoulders which flank a small slightly open bezel which probably originally was filled with sealing wax. Possibly held a stone but of such small proportions to make that unlikely. Exceptional quality reserved for family of high status and financial means. The 24karat gold surface restored for modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
