Size 4 1/2. Prostitutes in the Roman Empire were young and often slaves. Plain band topped with garish pyramidal mount with flared radial base, comically emulating the stone of the quality rings worn by cultured women. Prostitution was practiced openly in ancient Rome and some of the best evidence is in the remains of Pompeii. Untouched as found with surface textured from burial.
