ROMAN RING, 2ND-4TH CENTURY AD, SIZE 4 ¼
Bronze, originally gilt, with large lenticular bezel cut with transverse marks serving as a signet. Ridged band, 2.1mm width with ridged and faceted bottom lug, in the Roman taste, but unusually emphasized here. As found condition in crisp preservation with dark patina. For wear on the small finger between the first two joints. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
