Size 4 1/2-5 of oval form with circular section band, expanded at the bottom in the Roman style and with a very small nub at the top. The unusual section suggests that it was not intended to be worn continuously, but for a special occasion only, probably a pagan coming of age ritual. Our research produced no other example of this type. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
