Gilt bronze. Rounded face band in 1 1/4 coils, 1.7mm width. One end expanded and the other pointed in serpent form. These are also found in a more graphic representation, with the head as a ball and a long pointed tail. The coil or helix was a favorite form for Vikings and evidently held supernatural significance to them. Textured from burial. Sound wearable condition and professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with a certification of authenticity
