10th-11th century AD. Sharply ridged disk with raised lips to the stringing hole. 7/8” diameter. Vikings valued beads above gold and took beads as a tribute, sparing lives in exchange. Quite crisp with light texture from burial. Professionally refurbished with the gold surface restored.
