VIKING MAN'S RING 10TH-11TH CENTURY AD SIZE 5 ½
Size 5 ½ for the small finger as was the custom. Gilt bronze with broad rounded section band with bottom reinforcement in the Late Roman/Medieval fashion. Flared shoulders with hand engraved chevrons and geometric band below the raised lozenge shaped bezel. These often had runes on the bezel and this example may have had originally. The surface with light texture form burial, now with the 24karat gold surface restored for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
