VIKING WEDDING RING 866-1067 AD, SIZE 10 ¾
Danelaw England. 3.0mm width with rounded face. Made with a central core to distribute the molten metal and heat. The core was then laboriously removed by hand with the remnants visible. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver surface restored. Good wearable size. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
