British Isles. Gilt bronze. Charm size, just over 7/8” (0.88”) height plus the loop. Iconic cusped top heart form enclosing a trefoil. The upper two elements formed by the extensions of the border and nubbed at the midpoint. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
