About 3/4" height plus the suspension loop, with nubs at the sixth point. Framed central double raised heart of archaic form over a saltire. A rounded border swelled at the sides. A well known motif, in this case, nearly indistinguishable from wear and burial. Very likely served several generations to achieve its current condition. Made by the open-face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold restored on a gilt 18” neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
